Plenity Review

Description Plenity

Plenity® is indicated to aid weight management in adults with excess weight or obesity, a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25–40 kg/m², when used in conjunction with diet and exercise. Made from naturally derived building blocks found in fruits, vegetables, cellulose and citric acid, Plenity helps you feel fuller throughout the day.

Main advantages

  • Easy to use
  • Plenity before and after images may show some beneficial results
  • Available via telehealth
  • Low-cost prescription, compared to other weight-loss options

Main disadvantages

  • Not available through traditional pharmacies
  • Has a more favorable side effect profile
  • Just a simple soluble fiber that expands in your stomach and makes you feel full
  • It’s meant for people who are significantly overweight and have been unable to lose weight through diet and exercise alone (it’s not like Plenity is designed for people who are just looking to lose a few pounds)
  • that only suppresses your appetite (it doesn’t have any other benefits that can help you lose weight or keep off the lost weight)
  • The clinical study was conducted on pre-diabetics and diabetics
  • Cost

User Reviews for Plenity Oral

1.8 out of 5 based on 27 reviews

Cent: I ended up having to have my gallbladder removed. Did the drug cause my issue I’m not sure. I stopped taking it.

Nutrilove: I took Plenity for 2.5 weeks. I felt full after three days. I lost 4 lbs total. I had chest pain in my second week then all of a sudden it would not go away. I’ve had ongoing chest pain for weeks from what may be acid reflux! I’ve gained back everything I’ve lost because I can’t exercise due to the pain.

Luke: The medication is simple to take. Drink plenty of water with your pills and in 20-30 mins, you’ll feel full. I did lose about 10 pounds taking it over a couple of months. I should comment, that the reason it’s not been wildly successful for me, is because I did not take it religiously. I am restarting it, and hopefully the habit sticks. The medication does function as advertised, at least for me.

Sandra: I took this for 5 months, and gained 5 pounds. Did not make me feel full at all.

Plenity Review: Does Plenity Work

In many cases, you could pay four times as much for Plenity than for a more effective and natural weight-loss supplement option – without the added titanium dioxide or mystery ingredients.

Like any other diet pills or weight-loss supplements on the market, they are only effective when used correctly and combined with a healthy diet. Generally speaking we’d recommend getting something with 5HTP as well as a swelling ingredient.

As such taking an over the counter Plenity alternative like hourglass fit should be more effective with less side effects and for about 50% less than Plenity costs. Plenity is good, it’s just not great. Read full review…

Plenity Review: Why it’s a Waste of Money

We consider Plenity to be a waste of money, and we would recommend that overweight or obese patients speak with their doctor about dietary fiber supplementation instead.

Plenity has a more favorable side effect profile than many prescription weight loss drugs, but we find the clinical study backing its efficacy to be questionably designed.

We urge Plenity to publish information describing the placebo material used in their clinical trial, because this would allow patients and providers to better understand the relative efficacy of the drug when compared with dietary fiber intake. Read full review…

Plenity Reviews – Why This Weight Loss Aid Is Not Ideal?

If your body mass index (BMI) is over 25 and you have tried making lifestyle changes but failed, Plenity might be worth a try. If you are diabetic or have pre-diabetes, have eating disorders, and have a BMI of more than 30, you might qualify for a Plenity prescription. But remember that it will only help you curb your hunger to a small extent.

Anything more than that and you are better off trying something else. This is just some dietary fiber that can be obtained from citrus fruits. There are other weight loss supplements on the market that can offer more benefits without any side effects.

We have some serious doubts about its weight loss effectiveness. So, we would not recommend Plenity to someone who is looking for a comprehensive weight loss solution. Instead, check out one of the three alternatives we have listed below. Read full review…

Plenity Review

In our opinion, Plenity offers little in the way of groundbreaking weight loss that you can’t experience from simple diet changes or other weight loss supplements. The equivalent of the weight loss experienced by users during clinical research would be a fiber-heavy diet.

When you consume foods rich in fiber, you feel fuller quicker. This often leads to a steady but noticeable weight loss over time.

Do you need weight loss medications to experience this level of weight loss? In our opinion, no. Is it necessary to spend $98 per month on the results obtained from Plenity? Absolutely not.

We believe it would be just as easy to gain an equally beneficial weight loss experience by increasing your whole food fiber intake and more significant amounts of water. Quite frankly, Plenity is a waste of time and money for overweight and obese adults looking for a change.

It’s not that we believe these prescription “weight loss pills” will lead to health challenges – but you can obtain the same benefits by increasing your rice and broccoli intake.

Luckily, we’ve recently tested some effective weight loss aids that provide more effective results than Plenity. The first, ShredCBD, is one of our favorite weight-loss products in general, and the second, LeanBean, is optimized for women’s weight loss. Read full review…

Plenity Weight Loss Review

3.9 out of 5 based on 40 reviews

Nancy: I was at the end of ever dieting again. My doctor was not happy with me and I told him I was tired of thinking, shopping, preparing a diet plan. He suggested Plenity and I said I would give it a try. I am so happy I did. I don’t feel like I’m on a diet. I feel like I am eating normally. I don’t feel deprived.

Shana: So far so good. Love that I feel full for hours. Customer service is great too, went out of town and forgot my plenity and they were kind enough to send it out to me immediately. This was a relief as I was afraid I would have to wait a week and start all over.

Maria: I had to go to the emergency room. Not safe.

Linda: My experience with Plentity was definitely a poor one. It simply didn’t work as promised. I followed instructions to the letter with no success. ( Although I cut back on food and tried to exercise more I ended up gaining a pound in a month.) I ended the program after a month. I would not recommend Plenity to anyone.

Plenity Review – 13 Things You Need to Know

We don’t say it often, but we were surprised by Plenity. The medication is not only clinically proven, but the company behind it all decided to take a unique route to the customer by partnering with the telehealth giant Roman. We are hopeful for its success based upon multiple clinical studies. We also like the simplicity of this program.

Overall, Plenity can be a great option for overweight and obese adults. If you are looking to pair this medication with a comprehensive program that’s also backed by clinical studies, make sure it can be personalized to your needs as well. Read full review…
