The scooter is equipped with Minimotors LCD display and controller, front and rear wide 8×3.0 ” tubeles tires, front and rear adjustable suspension, Rear turning lights, Key Ignition, electric EABS brake with regeneration to the battery and dual hydraulic disc brakes. LED lights, grip mechanism when the steering frame is folded allowing easy carrying of the scooter with one hand.The scooter is available in three colors – black, black / red, black / blue, black / silver.

I tested the Mantis scooter on various off-road scenarios from light trails to gravel roads, and although the scooter works very well on light trails it does start to suffer on gravel/fire roads and becomes difficult to ride due to all the shaking in the handlebars. The dual suspension on this electric scooter works much better for scenarios like dropping off curbs or going over speed bumps.
Other than that, the Kaabo Mantis 8 electric scooter is an absolute joy to ride, and I’m finding myself wanting to take it out all the time because of how fast I can get around town. Read full review…

The Kaabo Mantis 8 is perfect for someone looking for a last mile solution, dual-motor commuter scooter. A lot of commuter scooters have skinny solid tires or tube in pneumatic tires. The Mantis 8 offers a unique tubeless 8 inch pneumatic tires that are wide.
The wide 8-inch tires combined with dual motors make it a comfortable commuter scooter that is decent on hills. You aren’t going to fly up hills, but you aren’t going to struggle either. The Manti are known for head-whipping power and nimble handling, but also for stem creak and wobble. However, the Mantis 8 represents serious redemption for the Kaabo brand, bringing the stem from worst to first in quality. Unlike it’s predecessors, the Mantis 8 is not a racing scooter, but has many of the high quality features we expect from Manti, resulting in a super smooth, comfortable ride.
