Ed: I booked a room with this company but when I got there I was informed that the room was unavailable even though I had paid already. This was not due to the management of the condominium, but the owner of the room.

Mati: You can get some good deals on travel when you bundle your flight car rental and hotel with this site. I’ve only used them twice and was satisfied. If you’re not needing a hotel or car rental you can find a better option on your own. It can give you some great ideas on activities to do at your travel destination.

Kevin: I wish I saw those reviews before booking through them. They are not a UK based company and a bunch of dodgy scammers. I have been charged an international foreign transaction fee even when I paid the full amount before departing.

Tom: I have used this site many times for holidays and hotel booking and never had any problems. I’m surprised they have such a bad average score.

Melissa: Used my flexible ticket to rebook a new flight. Virtually impossible. Had to move it 3 months later. Still paid for the difference in price but now the luggage price is not included and flexibility is waved. CS- they NEVER follow up, can’t be trusted, they work from India- different culture and expectations, half the time they don’t understand the issue. Frustrating.

Cristian: The worst experience renting a car in Europe! I followed voucher instructions, went to pick-up location and called the agency number. After almost an hour of waiting and calling with no answer, I contacted the US Booking.com Customer Service which was helpless. I had no choice, rented the car through another agency and requested the refund.

John: They use to be good when started but now they are absolutely… bunch of unprofessional people got together and dont know which way is up.
I called them over 10 times to modify my flight, they keep on transferring me and either they disconnect you or they answer and once a lady picked up whom I did not understand a word she says.

Roger: With a week to go booking.com and Manhattan New York city kept the $500 I paid citing the “policy”. This is terrible customer service and I’ll never use them again.

Alfredo: Ruuun away from this company. They are a fraud. My friends in Canada and us in the USA went to Orlando. By the time we were planning our trip, we noticed their flight was going to arrive earlier, so we decided for them to get the rental car. Unfortunately they used this company to get a car in Dollar rent a car. They charged up front $500 but we thought that was a refundable deposit for any reason.

Sara: Biz since 1996??? There is zero real human interaction. It reminds me of the fake wizard behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz. I canceled my hotel, but they won’t refund my money $600. I’m holding out a small glimmer of hope. I have filed a complaint with BBB and a dispute on the bank charge. You Definitely won’t get ANY customer service – zero, zilch – none.

Thomas: My interaction with Booking.com was the single worst experience with any customer service department that I’ve had. We arrived in Edinburgh with a reservation through the website at Britannia Hotel. At the hotel, there were no rooms available for us. I attempted to call the Booking.com customer service line twice. Both times I was put on hold for 30 minutes before the line went dead.

Shawn: Booking.com listed a hotel as pet-friendly so we made reservations. The note was not pet-friendly so we were charged over $100 for cancellations. Do not trust Booking.com as being an accurate source!!

Michal: There was a problem with my reservation. At the reception desk, I was informed that my room was not available because of Booking and the facility communication process. After an hour of waiting, I got the room when I had already reserved another hotel in the city. Later problems with cancellation and Booking mindless fees only completed the picture.

Andy: Not trusted, discriminate, abusive service – outstanding nonsense treatment – our service are down of the minimum.

May: Bad user experience, I booked for a double occupancy and charged for it and they booked for a single one. Never use it .

Katrina: For a Company in which I have dealt with for more then 6 years, I now find myself unable to get a refund which I am owed. I have emailed customer Service more then 15 time and they just keep asking the same questions, which I have answered. I am disgusted with the lack of professionalism with Booking.Com

Jane: Had a booking I had to cancel (with free cancellation) where the hotel owner fraudulently remove money from my credit card after the cancellation. Followed booking com’s directions….nothing….asked for help and nothing! Finally sorted it myself…..had used them for many bookings but no longer.

Karen: Beautiful clean bright apartment close to the beach and across from the North Burleigh Surf club.Loved it. Would recommend it. Booking was easy and follow up with directions was great.

Anthony: I have on two occasions in the past year, the latest one being today, needed to make changes to bookings that were technically not possible as I’d paid a reduced fee for a non-refundable booking. 

Niel: This is the most useless business I have ever worked with. Never give us feedback and my self-catering unit has been closed for more than a month on this kak system. Can’t speak to the relevant department.

Mariette: I am still waiting for my payments as a host, for more than 4 months now, over R14000. After numerous phone calls, emails, even their CEO, useless. Excuses upon excuses. Sick of them, don’t support them, they steal from you!
